FeedDemon goes gold
Nick from Bradbury Software has found FeedDemon stable enough to freeze the code, sales will probably start next week. FeedDemon is software that allows you to easily navigate RSS feeds from sources all over the Internet.
An RSS feed could be described as the separation of content and design. These plaintext streams contain only the content of a website or service, not the images, style sheets or other ornaments. Based on XML, they can be deployed to any medium or platform, which is what makes RSS so very powerful.
FeedDemon comes with a host of pre-defined RSS feeds. The feeds are neatly categorized in channel groups, which helps you organizing your feed collections.
My favorite functionality is the Watches feature. A watch automatically searches all feeds for specific keywords. So you won’t miss a thing on the European Mars mission, the latest Flash components, local news or anything else you want to keep track of.
To get short: FeedDemon comes highly recommended. It will help you get the most from the latest step in internet evolution. The program works like a charm and gives you a perfect overview of the overcrowded world of blogging and RSS feeds in general.
