Flashtival 2003
Tuesday 7 October 2003 – Filed under: Flash – No Comments
I was invited by Macromedia to speak at Flashtival 2003, a (Dutch) Flash MX 2004 (and a little bit of Coldfusion) oriented get-together.
At the Flashtival 2003 conference, a number of Dutch and Belgian speakers shared their experiences with the Studio MX 2004 products from Macromedia, although the emphasis was mostly on Flash MX 2004. The whole thing was co-sponsored by my current employer, Clockwork.
I did a presentation about creating Flash MX 2004 Components. Apart from a short introduction into ActionScript 2.0, I explained the new SWC file format and the SWC MetaData tags that come with it.
