Funda.nl filters

Dutch real-estate site funda.nl has a nice and simple way of editing and removing filter criteria.
When searching for houses in a particular city or neighbourhood, the website uses a neat AJAX dropdown on the filters on the top of the search result, allowing the user to switch neighbourhoods very easily. See also the video below. The same applies to other criteria such as price, number of square meters, when it was built et cetera.
The filtering on the top of the page consists of items selected from a list of facet-navigation items on the righthand side of the page. When selecting a facet, it is moved to the top of the page, thus working as a filter on the selection.
I particularly like this implementation because of the link between the facets nav on the right and the flexibility of the filters on top of the page.
