Last week, the first meeting of the revamped Dutch Macromedia Usergroup, to be called Adobe Usergroup from now on, was held in Amsterdam. Topics were Flash CS3 integration (with other CS3 software like Illustrator and Photoshop) by yours truly, PaperVision 3D by Ralph Hauwert and Photoshop and 3D by Niels de Keizer.

Inline editing

Wireframe Schmireframe

Andrew Berkowitz from Sparkplug wrote a nice article on how they have been working on multiple iterations of a single screen for their Teamsnap application. If you’re in interaction/experience design, this is definitely a must-read.

At work, I switched from Windows to Mac about 4 months ago. So far, I’m very happy with that. The MacBook Pro I got from work is an Intel Core 2 Duo machine, the OS X interface is beautiful and virtually all software I need runs on Mac.

This weekend I was wondering if it would [...]

Martijn de Visser 2.0

26 October 2006 | filed under general | no comments »

I know, it has been awfully quiet around here lately.

That’s because I’ve been very busy with work and lots of small side-projects, leaving virtually no room for some decent blogging.

Also, I’ve switched jobs. I’m not leaving Lost Boys, but I’ll be continuing my career focusing on user experience. I was originally trained as an interaction [...]
